Gloria joined the University of Michigan Office of the Vice President and General Counsel in March 2018.  She provides legal advice and counsel to all U-M schools and colleges, including the Flint and Dearborn campuses, on labor and employment matters impacting the faculty and instructional bargaining units, including hiring, tenure and promotion, EEO, and Title IX in grievance, arbitration, and litigation forums.

Gloria is a Past Chair of the State Bar of Michigan Labor and Employment Section, having finished her term as Chair in September 2018.  She is a frequent presenter at state and national professional associations on topics related to labor and employment law.

Previously, Gloria served as General Counsel at Eastern Michigan University (2010-2018) after serving in the University of Michigan Office of the Vice President and General Counsel.

Gloria received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1986 and her B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1983.  She is an active member of the Michigan State Bar.
