Karen joined the Office of the General Counsel in November 2014 as a Senior Paralegal supporting attorneys who assist the University of Michigan Health Care System with various legal issues.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy in Health Information Management and a Paralegal Certificate from Madonna University.  Karen has over twenty years of experience working in health information management, from clerk to director, at various health care organizations and settings.  As a paralegal, she has worked for several attorneys assisting them with family law and personal injury litigation cases.
