Shirley joined the Office of the Vice President and General Counsel in 2023 and advises University clients on general business and commercial law matters.
Prior to joining the University, Shirley served as Senior Counsel for OFS Capital Management in Chicago, Illinois. She began her legal career as an associate in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, specializing in private equity mergers and acquisitions.
Shirley received her BA from Boston College, J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and MBA from Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business.
