Stephanie joined the University of Michigan Office of the Vice President and General Counsel in January 2017, bringing with her ten years of legal experience. As a paralegal, Stephanie’s primary work is in the area of domestic academic affiliation agreements, review of procurement and department contracts, and litigation support.
As Compliance Coordinator, Stephanie is responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and coordinating the University-wide Compliance Resource Center website which is promoted through presentations to individual departments and HRD.
After graduating from Ball State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology, Stephanie began her legal career at a prosecuting attorney’s office where she handled litigation and victim assistance. She also has certifications from Michigan State University and Grand Valley State University.
