Tera joined the University of Michigan Office of the Vice President and General Counsel in 1998. As Lead Paralegal, she works with in-house and outside counsel and provides litigation support in both state and federal lawsuits. She is responsible for investigating and responding to the University’s civil rights discrimination agency complaints with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Michigan Department of Civil Rights, Office of Civil Rights, and Department of Education.

Tera received her Paralegal certificate from the American Institute for Paralegal Studies in 1999.
