Jennifer joined the University of Michigan Office of the Vice President and General Counsel in May 2017.  She has over twenty-two years of legal experience working in the States of Michigan, Ohio, and Minnesota.  She began her career in medical malpractice litigation, eventually expanding her areas of expertise to include corporate litigation, civil litigation, contract law, domestic relations, defense workers’ compensation, personal injury, employment law, and estate planning.  She obtained dual Legal Secretary and Medical Secretary degrees from Lansing Community College in 1991.
